Dr. Jay Gary is a futures researcher who leads the Association of Professional Futurists

AUSTIN, TX – On February 3, 2018, Dr. Jay Gary, Chair of the Association of Professional Futurist (APF) will have his first interview as Chair on the Foresight Strategies Show with host Dr. Nilda Perez and co-host Rachel Calderon. There, he will explain the value of foresight and the many benefits of the APF membership.

Dr. Jay Gary is a founding member of the APF. Moreover, he has served on the APF Board for several years and in January 2018, he was appointed Chairman of the Board of the Association.  In his role, he will serve the members and lead the association into the future. The purpose of the Association is to elevate professional futurists, their work, and the futures field, and to serve the professional needs of its members.

In this 30 minute interview, Dr. Jay Gary will discuss foresight methods as well as recapitulating the "Foresight Competency Model." His personal mission, to teach futures whenever the opportunity presents itself, correlates with the Foresight Strategies Show mission to generate future-conscious business owners. 

Foresight Strategies Show will sponsor the APF by offering its members featured spots in order to create awareness of the APF. Since the objective of the APF and the FSS have many parallels featuring AFP guests is a logical decision.
