When last month the advisory board and executive committee for the "
Nearly 3 in 4 Need More" campaign was announced, it was noteworthy that 6 of the 14 committee members are affiliated with the
National LTC Network.
"I am pleased to serve on the advisory board of this important initiative. Although nearly 3 in 4 Americans age 65+ will need long term services, most people do not have long term care insurance to address that risk. I look forward to working with the 5 Network colleagues as well as the other members of the campaign to get the word out," said Terry Truesdell, President and CEO of The National LTC Network.
Mark Goldberg serves on both The National LTC Network's board of directors and on the "Nearly 3 in 4 Need More" campaign's executive committee. Goldberg is president of
ACSIA Long Term Care, Inc He commented on the campaign's national website (www.3in4needMore.com), "We encourage everyone to visit for free information and opportunities to participate."
Other members of The National LTC Network who, along with Truesdell and Goldberg, are active in the "Nearly 3 in 4 need More" campaign include these members of the advisory board:
Peter Gelbwaks,
Gelbwaks Executive Management - Florida
Kevin Johnson,
New York LTC Brokers - New York
Deborah Newman,
Newman Long Term Care - Minnesota
Mike Skiens,
Master Care Solutions - Oregon
The campaign's slogan was inspired by the
U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' long term care web site, which states that at least 70 percent (nearly 3 in 4) of Americans over age 65 will require some long-term care services at some point in their lives.
