MORRISTOWN, NJ (Expansionary News Service) April 4, 2010. In mid-March, as it became likely that Congress would pass the Obamacare health bill, Moody's Rating Agency warned that the US could lose its gold-plated AAA credit status. The reason was quite simple. Obamacare was going to dramatically inflate the already bloated US budget deficit.
Futurist/sociologist Dr.Michael G. Zey, in an article on
Examiner.com, describes why the financial community, US businesses, and the general public are becoming increasingly concerned about Obamacare's impact on the American economic future.
Dr. Zey, author of
The Future Factor,
Seizing the Future, and
Ageless Nation, says in the just published article that many economists see the true cost of Obamacare reaching trillions of dollar. American businesses are already taking huge writedowns to account for the financial losses they will incur because of this bill.
From his Morristown, NJ offices, Dr. Zey said the recent USA Today/Gallup Poll show that nearly two-thirds of Americans feel that the bill costs too much and expands the government's role in health care too far. Zey explained that from now on the public will link every new layoff, business failure and tax increase to Obamacare.
As Michael Zey states in the Examiner.com article, "The passage of this bill clearly drops the whole of the economy onto President Obama's lap."
